Acura RDX vs Lexus RX 350: Exterior Comfort and Design
As luxury vehicles, the 2020 RDX and RX 350 go all-out with the advanced tech features. On the cars’ exteriors, you’ll notice the benefits of the standard power liftgate immediately. You can access the trunk more easily whether your hands are full with carry-on items or the little ones.
Both vehicles offer a power moonroof, giving you access to the great outdoors during your ride. With it, you’ll be able to slide it open to let the light shine in as well as get some fresh air on a nice day. Though you can find this feature in each car model, it’s only standard in the RDX. You’ll have to upgrade if you want to enjoy the moonroof in the RX 350.
The Acura RDX and Lexus RX 350 deliver similarly efficient performances. The RDX gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 22 city MPG and 28 highway MPG.* The RX 350 model’s EPA-estimated 20 city MPG and 27 highway MPG is about the same, though you may be able to coax a bit more economy out of the RDX on the expressway.
Both vehicles pair a V6 engine with an automatic transmission and offer paddle shifters for a sportier ride. However, the RDX makes the paddle shifters standard, whereas the RX 350 only has them as an available option. If you want the freedom to manually shift your automatic, it’s easier to come by in the RDX.
